No previous experience is necessary for this 1-Day Freediving Taster Course! Curious about trying freediving? Interested but don't have the time to take a full 2-day Course yet? Perhaps you are wanting to learn spearfishing but need to learn the foundational essentials? This course is great for those both without any experience, and with a bit of experience. We will get into the initial basics and practice of breath-hold! You and your group have the chance to try-on and get familiar with freediving gear, get in the water, and try your hand at diving underwater. Your group will receive enriching course learning material in the weeks leading up to your course, which must be completed by course start date (approx. 3 hours long). Everything at this level will be kept shallow, and always we work in a completely safe and fun environment! COURSE INCLUDES: - Certification - Personal Equipment * - Learning Material BOOKINGS: Contact us via our "Contact" page or at info@emeraldfreediving.com with your group's available date range, and we will get back to you to discuss your possible booking. ___ * EQUIPMENT: Personal freediving equipment is fully included in this course - with the condition that you confirm your sizes with us in a month's advance of the course. We may be able to provide something for you if you book closer to the course date, but it is not guaranteed. We only have standard sizing suits and fins and will do our best to get as good a fit for you as possible with our gear. You may find a tailor made wetsuit is a good option for you, if you don't usually fit 'off-the-shelf' sizes.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Full refund if cancel booking 4 weeks before start date or more. 50% refund if cancel between 2 - 4 weeks exactly before the start date. No refund if cancel within 2 weeks of start date. In exceptional circumstance, late cancellations may be offered a last-minute place on an unfilled later course/session. Refundable Deposits are also subject to this cancellation policy. Post-Covid Policy: Unfortunately if you are sick with a cold or flu or any other infectious sickness that could be passed to your instructors or other participants, this renders you unfit to join the course/session. And the standard cancellation policy will apply. If you choose not to disclose this and yet still show up for your course/coaching session, this presents an awkward situation for all involved as you will be asked to leave.
