Let's go catch our dinner! This Spearfishing course on beautiful Achill Island, Co. Mayo is full of important information, practice, and hopefully a bit of craic regarding all foundational things related to Irish spearfishing and underwater foraging! We will go in-depth into foundational spearfishing and foraging techniques, safety, equipment, regulations, identification, best practice, tips & tricks, and fish cleaning techniques. The information pertaining to the natural environment is geared toward Irish and UK waters. This course is for those with relevant experience, or at least having completed an AIDA 1 or equivalent course. Spearos of all levels are welcome to come and improve your safety, equalization, efficiency, and sustainability. BOOKINGS: Course Price: €425 ** Booking Deposit: €85 *** ___ * EQUIPMENT: Personal freediving equipment is fully included in this course - with the condition that you confirm your sizes with us in advance of the course. We may be able to provide something for you if you book closer to the course date, but it is not guaranteed. We only have standard sizing suits and fins and will do our best to get as good a fit for you as possible with our gear. You may find a tailor made wetsuit is a good option for you, if you don't usually fit 'off-the-shelf' sizes. ** DIVE SITE ENTRY FEES: Applicable course location dive site fees (i.e. national, private parks, parking, etc.) are NOT included in the standard course costs. *** DEPOSIT: If you book more than a month in advance, you can book your spot with either Full Course Payment, or a Refundable Deposit (T's & C's apply). If you book by deposit we will invoice you with the remaining course fee, due by one month before your course. Deposit is subject to our standard Cancellation Policy (see below)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Full refund if cancel booking 4 weeks before start date or more. 50% refund if cancel between 2 - 4 weeks exactly before the start date. No refund if cancel within 2 weeks of start date. In exceptional circumstance, late cancellations may be offered a last-minute place on an unfilled later course/session. Refundable Deposits are also subject to this cancellation policy. Post-Covid Policy: Unfortunately if you are sick with a cold or flu or any other infectious sickness that could be passed to your instructors or other participants, this renders you unfit to join the course/session. And the standard cancellation policy will apply. If you choose not to disclose this and yet still show up for your course/coaching session, this presents an awkward situation for all involved as you will be asked to leave.
