- Dingle Peninsula
Emerald Freediving is gearing up for a fun day of swimming with marine life around the bountiful and stunning Dingle Peninsula! Regular sightings include a permanent colony of Grey Seals and frequent pods of Dolphins playing around. On a regular basis, there are Minke Whales, with sightings of Fin Whales and Humpbacks! With any luck there will still be some Basking Sharks around feeding, and hopes of possible Sun Fish further out. Sea birds are plentiful in this area! Itinerary will likely include a cave and/or 20m tunnel swim-through! All activities and marine life spotting will be decided based on weather and other relevant factors. Chances for some marine species vary on natural factors. There are maximum 6 places available. We will be on a sturdy rib-boat with moderate room for equipment, moving around, and easy and safe entry/exit from the boat. Marine life respect and group safety will be covered prior to departure. * Must be a strong sea swimmer and comfortable in open ocean waters. Freediving or sea snorkelling experience required. Age 18+ ** Specific itinerary times and other further details upon booking. * Subject to last-minute extreme/dangerous weather cancellations (generally but not always known one week before). In circumstances of cancellation due to weather, will issue a full refund). ** Personal equipment not provided.
